What does IP distribution mean?

IP distribution refers to any audio/visual delivery method that uses the internet protocol (IP) i.e. that passes through the internet. For example, some cable-based set-top-boxes on your TV use IP or directly to your computer via the web.

Why should I use the Wysiwyg Digital Distribution over other download services?

Wysiwyg is a distribution company not a download service, which means we get the widest possible exposure for all productions (i.e. possible sales to DVD, cinema, TV and other outlets). We also syndicate productions for delivery to iPods, PSPs, set-top-boxes, mobile phones and any new viewing technologies that emerge. 

We assess each film to see exactly what potential it has in each available output media and exploit it to its fullest. Sharing every penny of profit with the rights-owner.

Wysiwyg  specialises in IP distribution of films across the globe using only the best quality download, mobile and VOD services available. This network of premium distribution services includes LOVEfILM (UK & Europe), Guba.com (worldwide), EZTakes (worldwide) and many more.

As new technologies and services arise Wysiwyg assesses the services’ technology, delivery quality, accounting, security and reporting before adding them to the Wysiwyg’s DDN. This ensures that films arrive in front of viewers at the quality that the filmmaker intended and, as importantly, the filmmaker receives her revenue in a timely manner.

What we also do

Wysiwyg was set up in early 2005 to market high quality independent  titles. Alongside IP distribution Wysiwyg trades in DVD sales (online and through high street stores), cinematic exhibition, TV sales, cable, set-top-boxes and airlines/ boats.

Wysiwyg TV looks for completed productions that stand out in some way and have a clearly identifiable world-market. Wysiwyg TV markets these shows to cable, TV, IPTV and DVD.
